here are our new chickens free-styling in the lego!
the have a special heated 'brooder box' that they are supposed to spend most of their time in. they are very curious, active things and love to venture out into the lego zone when it is warm enough and the coast is clear (ie minnie is outside).

here are 3 smitten boys who are being great tender-hearted Dads to their new babies. so far they have come up with a couple of names that make me laugh. Ferno and Stormer which seem perfect for such sweet fluffy little girls! They are names of Bionicle characters I think!
someone else who is equally smitten but perhaps in a less tender-hearted way is minnie. she likes to watch the brooder box like a TV!
the girls watch her back! these little ones are on loan whilst we wait for my chosen breed to hatch. its a good way to check if we want to commit to chickens full-time. so far so good!
