SOLD!

We have sold our house! The auction was due to be held this Sat but we accepted an early offer. The new owner has a public profile so we know she (obviously!) has great taste. Its lovely to know the house's quirky charm will be appreciated.

Here are some snaps from the last inspection. The front room has finally been finished and presented as a 'grown-ups retreat'

If we stayed we would have put a library in here either side of the chimney breast.

A nice sunny spot perfect for composing some love poetry

My new fancy Chaise lounge perfect for reclining with some scholarly high brow booky books.

Kitchen bench polished up & then covered with the agent's flyers etc

Tropicana corner

We toned down this wall which was previously completely covered in kid's artwork

My lovely window seat

I'm feeling very sentimental about all these nooks & crannies and can't believe that soon they will be someone else's boohoooo!!

I had a big sooky wallow the night we sold but now I'm feeling a bit better. I am really looking forward to getting stuck into our new super-megga exciting project and moving forward.

Note my properly printed and framed art made way back in 1st yr Central Saint Martins

I love this deep window sill, perfect for propping my precariously balanced glass objects

My clever friend Annabelle found this magazine rack on the side of the road and knew I'd love it

    1. Thanks! I think she's getting something quite unique, I asked the agent to ask the new owner if she wanted the big fancy bronze Flemish lightfiting and she does - sob!
