We have a portaloo and electricity (currently borrowed from next door) and not much else!
No running water, no shower, no oven, no dishwasher, no washing machine, no walk-in wardrobe (actually I've never had one of those)
The photo above is of my dish-washing pile in the garden that I do near the neighbours tap so I can hose off dishes after washing them in warm water (from the kettle)
Its all very basic and like camping but so far it has novelty value and we LOVE LIVING IN OUR NEW SPOT! We feel like we are in the country yet we can walk to the fantastic shops on Lygon St. We scoot along the creek, walk to school and spend lots of time in the big garden.
I have many photos and stories from moving house (horrendous - NEVER AGAIN) and from getting the caravan on site (nerve wracking). Am hoping to blog these soon, stay tuned!
